Group Class Series
Our new Super Good Puppy program is for young pups (usually 12 wks-5 months of age). It’s a new program because we follow the new AKC STAR puppy training certification program. (You can learn more about the AKC STAR puppy at www.akc.org.)
Why join our Super Good Puppy class programs?

What age pup can attend this class series?
Our Super Good Puppy class is for young puppies usually between 12 weeks and 5 months. The most important thing is for your pup to be properly vaccinated before coming into a group class so you’ll want to talk directly to your veterinarian if he/she feels your pup is good-to-go.
How many weeks is the class?
This is a 6-week course with classes lasting about 1hr, with the first class lasting a bit longer. These classes are all about making learning fun for you and your pup.
How big is the class size?
Just right, not too large and not too small, normal class sizes range from 2-5 canine students and their human families.
How much is the class series?
Super Good Puppy AKC STAR program class fee is only $120* for all 6-weeks. This includes your AKC STAR program certification test.
*We may recommend additional training tools for training success. These are all available at our studio’s Dooper Market. Rest assured, we will custom fit and teach you how to use any and all equipment we recommend.
Why is class so inexpensive?!
The number one reason why dogs get dropped off at shelters is- POOR BEHAVIOR! So, you see, we're actually saving a dog's life by teaching him good manners, when he’s a puppy, at an affordable price.
What about vaccinations?
Your pup must be properly vaccinated. Talk directly with your veterinarian to ake sure your pup is ready for group classes.
What do we learn in Super Good Puppy class?
We follow the class guidelines set by the AKC for the STAR puppy program. Here are just some of the MANY things you will teach your pup:
- Walk nicely on a loose leash
- Come when called
- Settle and relax when you hold it for grooming or teeth cleaning or nail clipping
- Sit, down, stay and all the other good manners commands we think all pups should know
- Play will with people and other dogs
- Not jump or bite
- Love his/her crate
- Play with activity toys like food puzzles
- Play games with the family
- Extra Bonus: do agility exercises like jumps and ramps, tunnels and weave poles
- Learn tricks like High-5, or roll-over or hold-on-the-nose
